Goodbye Mitchyville

Oh Mitchyville, you will be missed. I'm driving up "the 5" tomorrow, and I think I'm more than a little sad about abandoning the Salty D for as long as I am. They call it America's Finest City, and even though I think that's a dirty lie, I've really gotten to like San Diego just a little bit. I think this is mostly due to a wonderful watering hole known as The Lamplighter. Best Karaoke Bar in San Diego, yes, but it's more than that. Granted, I only turned 21 a few months back, but I'm gonna go ahead and say that The Lamplighter is the best bar EVAR! I can't wait to return to SD for an encore performance of "Hey Ma" on their karaoke stage.

Long drive ahead of me dudes, good thing my dude "kritikal" came through with tremendous knock, or as my angry neighbors called it "incessant booming".

E-40, Lil Jon, Doey Rock "Monster Up"

This one's really fucking old, but the full version finally came out. I posted it months ago as "Been There, Done That", but now it has a new name, a second 40 Water verse, and a Doey Rock verse. I'm not so sure about this Doey Rock dude, I've heard he's the newest member of Sic-Wid-It. Anyone know more about dude?

Speaking of full versions of songs finally coming out, I have still yet to hear all of Cam'ron's "Oh What a Night". I mean, that first verse alone is probably the best Cam song he's made in years, and yet DJ Kay Slay has never let anyone hear the rest of it. What gives, Kay Slay? That's way effed-up. Is anyone down to start an online petition to get that whole song released? Maybe I'll write my congressman or some shit, I'm that pissed.

Turf Talk "You've Really Got Me Goin"

Speaking of Sic-Wid-It, there's finally a new Turf Talk song out that isn't a recycled or otherwise shitty verse. He kinda flips that old song by The Kinks (that I can only remember the Van Halen version though), but not really. Probably avoided some potential legal problems there.
