To say this is hipster-hop misses the point. The song AND video are both so full of "Posse on Broadway" references that it confuses the matter entirely; are we watching a cover, but not quite? Why is the video so low quality? Does everyone wear Starter jackets all the time?

And I'd be a liar if I said I didn't like Dirt Nasty's videos, but I haven't heard a song independent of a video. Could a Dirt Nasty song stand on its own? Or does it need the visual to back it up? It's Hollywood rap after all, and maybe one couldn't exist independent of the other. Happy 4th guys.

There is so much quality bay area music coming out, a lot for free too, yet I see nary a mention of them.
